Enhertu #6 +#7

This is a catch-up from July and August 2021.  This summer has been the shortest one of my life.  I blinked twice, and it's over.  Between the boys having an amazing week long trip with their grandparents, a week long summer camp, celebrating our first born's birthday, and planning and attending my family reunion in Colorado, time has seemed to disappear.  Now, a week later, my boys are in school in the middle of August.  Literally, where has summer gone?

Part of it has been in the last two doses of Enhertu.

Labs, appointment with Anita, Enhertu

I am loving this new drug.  Anita walked into the room and asked the now typical questions to learn more about the past three weeks.  All good.  The miracle for this midsummer morning was hearing that *all my labs look great.* That means that I didn't need a potassium infusion-or any other extra infusion, for that matter for today's appointment!

The lab work is promising and the trees are green!  July has been good to me!

August 10, 2021

Four days back from Colorado.  Took a while to catch up on sleep and strength afterwards.  Boys start school in TWO DAYS!!!???

Appointment with Dr. Cole.  Labs look excellent again.  This stuff is working like a charm for me now, and I am humbled and grateful.  I did have one fall to report.  Water was left on my bathroom tile after I let my younger boys take a bath in my big tub.  I was carrying hangers and clothes to the closet and didn't see this water beneath my feet.  I slipped, clothes flipped, the clothes flew up, I slid down, and I ended up with a busted up big left toe and a scraped and bruised right arm.  Thank goodness it was nothing too severe!

With all lab work in normal areas, the infusion was, again, just Enhertu.  Have I mentioned that it only lasts 30 minutes? That's good, as there were still many things on my list to have my three growing boys ready for their summer to end.
