CT and Results

I had scans on Friday, then something way out of the ordinary happened this week.  I had TWO people, Stephen and Auntie Deb, join me, in my after scan meeting with Dr. Cole.

Having a CT is pretty easy.  Drink the shake.  Then, lie really still.

40-year-old Female with breast cancer metastatic to brain, bone, lymph nodes, liver, peritoneum, malignant ascite. (Oh, is that all??)

THERE ARE NO AREAS OF ABNORMAL ENHANCEMENT.

I started with the *delicious* (2) vanilla shakes.  The actual CT was easy-peasy.

Then, I went back on Monday for the results.

I sort of forgot that I was there to get scan results, just for a second, because it was so exciting that Dr. Cole FINALLY knows All immediate family.

Dr. Cole brought it up.

"I have really good news for you!
Your scans are significantly decreased.

And then, doctor and patient did a High Five!
I had tried to describe how my cancer reacts to chemo, and finally she got it.  My cancer is like a weed.  It tries to grow out, but a few sprays of Roundup and dies.

This was practically the best appointment I could have.  Dr. Cole was saying all the right things.  Your Cancer has decreased.  You look thin.

Miracles and prayers answered.

And, still fighting.
